The main Magnesia Litera Award for Book of the Year was won by Miroslav Hlaučo for his novel Letnice, which also succeeded in the Debut of the Year category.
The Magnesia Litera awards, presented since 2002, are among the most significant literary honors in the Czech Republic. Each year they highlight the best literary works across various genres and categories, ranging from prose and poetry to non-fiction. This year, we supported the non-fiction category for the first time because we believe that quality popular and scholarly literature is essential for spreading knowledge and strengthening the appreciation and respect for science among the public.
Warm congratulations to all the winners and nominees!
