The team was made up of top contestants from the Czech Linguistics Olympiad – a competition for high school students that combines language, logic, and computer science. It develops analytical thinking and skills in working with linguistic data, without requiring prior knowledge of linguistics or foreign languages. This year, we supported the competition with a grant of CZK 200,000.
We warmly congratulate the students, organizers, and volunteers from the Czech Linguistics Olympiad and the ČLOvěci association on a great year and its outstanding conclusion.
