We supported the 18th annual European Festival of Philosophy in Velké Meziříčí, organized by the Jupiter Club Cultural Center in collaboration with the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences and the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University. This year's theme is "Natural vs. Artificial."

About the festival

"In a world that is constantly evolving and where technological development is accelerating, we increasingly encounter discussions on the topic of natural versus artificial. This debate is not new, but its importance and relevance today cannot be denied. Natural and artificial are two concepts that seem to be on opposite sides of the spectrum, each with its own advantages and disadvantages, proponents and opponents. The debate among the speakers at the festival will not only focus on questions of efficiency or innovation. It will also address deeper questions of ethics, sustainability, health, architecture, and identity. What is better for our planet? How can these two worlds coexist and enrich each other instead of excluding one another? Can the artificial ever fully replace the natural, and should that even be our goal?"
