The IOCB Tech Foundation is stepping up to support a scholarship program for Roma students in secondary schools, vocational colleges, and universities. Since 2016, this program by the organization ROMEA has been crucial for Roma students' education. Now, we will provide one million crowns over the next two years to help increase the program’s reach. Together with the Neuron Foundation, we are opening a call for applications for a one-month internship for five leading Israeli PhD students to visit the Czech Republic. In its third year, the program provides housing and financial support for one month, including transport to the Czech Republic, and is available at several top-notch facilities. Read more

The ambassador of the State of Israel to the Czech Republic, Anna Azari, visited IOCB Prague for the second time. This time, her aim was to learn about the experiences of interns from Czech universities, whose study stays in Israel were supported by the IOCB Tech Foundation and the Neuron Foundation. Read more

In 2022, there were 465 corporate foundations in the Czech Republic that distributed more than CZK 1.4 billion. The recipients of the 2024 Martina Roeselová Memorial Fellowship, which provides financial support to young scientists caring for a preschool-aged child, have been chosen. The IOCB Tech Foundation has announced the names of the ten new awardees, who will share a total of 1.5 million Czech crowns. Read more

Over the next three years, nearly two hundred children and their parents, researchers at the Czech Academy of Sciences, will benefit from a substantial financial donation. The funds will go towards the administration of six children’s groups in Prague and subsidized places for children in Brno. The parents of the youngest children will thus find it easier to combine their childcare duties with those of their demanding scientific careers.  Read more

We accept applications for the Martina Roeselová Memorial Fellowship for 2024. Stipends of CZK 150,000 for one year support young researchers in the field of natural sciences who strive to combine competitive scientific research with care for a preschool child or children. Read more

We have made a donation of CZK 240,000 to the Endowment Fund of the Faculty of Science, Charles University. The donation will be used for scholarships for PhD and Master's students of the faculty going on internships to gain valuable experience in foreign scientific workplaces. Read more
